Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a retired real estate developer with a grandfather who left Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in the year 1976. Psaki is also of Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, she graduated from the College of William & Mary with the degree of English and sociology. She is a part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki, who was a William & Mary backstroke swimmer was on the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki began her professional career in 2001, as a candidate for re-election for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was then named deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki will serve as a Political Analyst during 2022's United States Presidential Elections. In 2023, Psaki will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform.
