Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress comedian, writer, and actress. O'Hara has won numerous awards, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she won the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara first made her appearance as an actor in 1974 as in The Second City, an improv comedy group in Toronto. She was part of the main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. The following year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned praise from critics for her performance as a comedic actor and writer, securing an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
